Winter AIDS Walk
Not really local but I thought this would be of interest to some.
Dec. 7 • Greensboro
Winter AIDS Walk
The Winter Walk for AIDS is a three-mile walk through the beautiful streets of downtown Greensboro that raises both needed funds and awareness. The Walk benefits the American Red Cross of Greensboro, Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro-Beacon Place and Triad Health Project. The Walk promises to be a powerful and moving experience as we remember those lost to AIDS and look to a future when HIV/AIDS is defeated. War Memorial Auditorium, 510 Yanceyville St. 1 p.m. www.winterwalkforaids.kintera.org.
