As we near the anniversary of Roe Vs Wade, the 1973 law that protects a woman's right to an abortion, there is likely to be a group who seek its repeal attempting to get the attention of the local press.  Last year, at the Pitt County Courthouse steps, the repeal group was not alone!  Four of us stood in (mostly) silent witness to the need for the law protecting a woman's right to decide!  We don't yet know when or if this same group advocating repeal of Roe vs Wade will seek PR this year.  When we know, I hope there are some of you who would be willing to gather to show your support for the continuation of a woman's right to make her own decisions about her own body.
