Please join Equality North Carolina and PFLAG Rocky Mount on Tuesday, February 24th at 7pm in the auditorium of Edgecombe Community College (225 Tarboro Street in Rocky Mount) for a meeting focused on the School Violence Prevention Act (also known as the "Anti-Bullying Bill") and on how a diverse coalition of organizations and individuals are working together to make sure all children are safe at school.
Equality NC's Community Organizer, Rebecca Mann, will get the ball rolling with a discussion on bullying and harassment in North Carolina's schools, including action steps for what you can do to end it! Equality NC interns Greer Cook and Wes Nemenz will also be on hand to collect stories from participants about school bullying to present to state legislators.
